FRAML consulting

FRAML consulting: Fraud, Risk and AML expertise

Fraud prevention, financial crime risk assessment, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening and case management from people who have done the job.

Fraud, Risk & AML

FRAML consulting from people who have worked the alerts

FRAML stands for Fraud, Risk and Anti-Money Laundering. In many organisations these sit in separate teams with separate systems and budgets, and criminals exploit the gaps between them. A FRAML approach gives you one view of the customer, shares risk data across teams and links investigations together.

Our FRAML team holds CFE and ICA certifications and has hands-on experience of transaction monitoring, AML compliance, sanctions screening and fraud detection in banking, payments and remittance. We know the regulations, and we know what a Monday morning alert queue looks like.

FRAML FAQs

What’s the difference between fraud, risk and AML?

Fraud prevention stops criminals taking money from you or your customers. AML stops criminals using your services to move or hide the proceeds of crime. Risk management connects the two by showing which customers, products and channels carry the most exposure. FRAML treats all three as one problem.

Can you help us cut false positives?

Yes. Better rules and thresholds, better customer segmentation and cleaner data usually reduce the noise while keeping, or improving, detection of real risk.

Do we have to use iTrack Sentry?

No. Our consulting is vendor-neutral, so we’ll recommend whatever fits: tuning your current system, iTrack Sentry or another platform.
